Interest in our programs is strong. We have over 400 graduates from our Basic Business Skills Training Course. Approximately 50 of them started small businesses within the Greater Syracuse area. The capital investment, profits, and jobs created by these small local businesses benefit the very communities that need them most, those that are underserved or disadvantaged. Proven programs like Appleseed Trust make sense now more than ever to encourage further growth in small businesses, especially considering that the majority of new job creation as well as overall employment is now concentrated in the small, rather than corporate, business sector.
