Home HeadQuarters is seeking a dynamic individual interested in housing and community development work to fill the position of Neighborhood Planner.

Position includes assisting with data management within a GIS system, organizing large & small scale volunteer efforts and events, and working with residents and stakeholders to create community revitalization strategies for neighborhoods throughout the Syracuse Area.

Applicant must have excellent communication, public speaking and writing skills. Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Power Point and have sound knowledge and experience in ArcGIS. Knowledge of Crystal Reports & Adobe Suites software preferred. Must have a willingness to learn new software and skills and apply them to everyday work.

40 hours/wk – must be available to attend weeknight meetings around 1-2 nights per week.
